"Absolutely amazing pizza. We had a custom made pizza half and half we thought we would have some to go. My wife and I were nearly fighting each other for the last pieces of crust, we literally were just about to eat the cardboard. The pizza was sitting on, because everything was so absolutely delicious and unbelievable."

"Really tasty pizza with fresh ingredients and cooked right before your eyes in a wood burning pizza oven! Great prices, quality and wonderful service by the lovely Mamma Ida who is so friendly and kind. My husband and I ran from the train station the following night to catch her before closing because we loved the pizza and service so much. Grazie Mamma Ida!"

"Highly recommend this pizzeria. As the saying goes, "2 streets back from main attractions" often offers the most authentic dining experiences. Pizzas were superb, cooked in front of us, on a wood fired pizza oven, using the freshest of ingredients. Fantastic crispy base & loads of topping. Staff were very attentive and friendly, even having a laugh & a joke with us. Will definitely try to visit a 2nd time whilst in Lucca."

"Good samaritans - I arrived just as they were closing down and the lady explained in Italian (I can't speak much Italian) they weren't open but there was a selection of left over pizza that I could have. Signalling to her that I'd pay with card she then motioned that the machine wasn't working. I accepted the fate of my hunger, but as I turned to leave she called me and then kindly heated up some very tasty pizza for me to take, knowing I couldn't pay! All I can say is thank you very much. Very few places would have shown such kindness."
